Sports Massage Therapist
My name is Di Smart and I am a sports massage therapist. I have been working with the highly respected and successful Wadebridge Chiropractic Clinic for the past 5 years.
I trained and qualified with the London School of Sports Massage at Southampton University, receiving the highest qualification diploma over 16 years ago. I participated for many years in County sports (tennis, athletics, gymnastics and swimming) and watched my two sons playing their County sports in rugby, athletics and gymnastics. All of us had sustained our fair share of sporting injuries over the years. I decided sports rehabilitation was where I wanted my career path to go once the boys had grown up.
Since then I have built up my own private practice, as well as working alongside Chiropractors, Osteopaths and Physiotherapists. My client base includes and has included Olympic athletes, County and semi-professional rugby and football players, hockey players, sailors, professional dancers, GPs, surgeons, dentists, hairdressers, business and retired people from all walks of life, to name but a few.
I am extremely passionate about what I do and I love every aspect of Sports Massage. In particular, I really enjoy the interaction I have with my patients and helping them to restore and achieve their full fitness potential is the greatest feeling of all.
